Notable Project: Massive undertaking for a private subway for Leonard Department Store; construction involved digging a 1,400-foot tunnel beneath downtown Fort Worth, Texas. For over 40-years, this was the only private underground subway station in the United States.
Paul Tingle assumes ownership and renames the firm Haws & Tingle, setting the stage for continued expansion.

Jim Hasenzahl acquires Haws & Tingle from Paul Tingle, ushering in a new era of leadership and strategic growth.
David Hasenzahl joins the organization, strengthening the firm’s operational capabilities and long-term vision.

Hasen acquires Haws & Tingle, unifying the companies’ strengths under a single brand and accelerating expansion.

Hasen Global is founded as a separate, independently operated company by David Hasenzahl and two co founders, specializing in federal-sector construction projects domestically and internationally, with offices in Texas and the Washington, D.C. area.
Hasen attains commercial construction certification in California, with license reciprocity extending operations into Louisiana, Arizona, and Nevada.

Hasen Design Build & Development begins focusing more strategically on real estate development.
Notable Project: Construction of Potranco Commons Multi-Family project in San Antonio, Texas, consisting of 16 buildings, parking garage, community center with pool and high-end amenities.

Hasen Design Build & Development partners on River Central, a $2 billion, 400-acre transit-oriented mixed-use project in the heart of the DFW metroplex. Hasen also opens its second office in San Antonio, Texas, supporting statewide growth.
In September of 2024, Hasen launches Hasen Holdings, welcoming Senior Vice President of Operations Paul Witt, Chief Financial Officer Anthony Garza and Patrick McKeen, Director of Preconstruction, in this new venture.
